A warm, sociable day care centre in Shrewsbury — Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm.
Our day centre gives older people across Shrewsbury and Shropshire somewhere friendly to spend the day: good company, hot meals, activities and gentle support — and a welcome break for the family members who care for them.
A typical day with us
Nothing is compulsory — join in with everything or settle in a comfy chair with a cup of tea. The day is yours.
9:00 – 10:00
Arrivals & a warm welcome
Tea, coffee, toast and a proper catch-up as everyone settles in for the day.
10:00 – 12:00
Morning activities
Quizzes, card games, crafts, music, gentle chair exercise, gardening and reminiscence sessions.
12:00 – 13:00
Lunch together
A hot home-cooked meal served around the table — the highlight of the day for many.
13:00 – 15:00
Afternoon choices
Bingo, films, hobby groups, visiting entertainers, a walk out or simply a quiet armchair and a chat.
15:00 – 16:00
Tea & home time
Afternoon tea and cake, then a friendly send-off with an update for family where agreed.

Clear day rates with no hidden fees. Lunch, drinks and all activities are included, and booking regular days each week brings the daily rate down.
Full day
£85
9am – 4pm, lunch and refreshments included.
Half day
£55
Morning (9am – 12:30pm) or afternoon (12:30pm – 4pm).
Three days a week
£240
Three full days booked together — £80 per day.
Five days a week
£375
Monday to Friday booked together — £75 per day.
Transport to and from the centre can often be arranged — please ask when you get in touch.
